Today we went to the Regional Training Centre to host our Literacy Event. It was such a fun afternoon, with multiple workshops that were all really informative and everyone enjoyed!
The afternoon started off with MCC Digital's very own, Richard Child, he introduced all the innovative ways that Apple can help your students flourish, no matter their age. There’s something to allow everyone to learn to the best of their ability. Richard explained how simple the Apple products are to utilise, and how they contain so many useful features for you to start using.
We were then joined by Sleuth IT, who introduced everyone to their adventure games that they have curated to encourage literacy in a more exciting, enjoyable way. Our partners at Kaligo and Fonetti also came along. They had the chance to introduce the concept of what they do, before going on to display the services they’ve created. We were also able to talk more about the Primary Literacy Package* that we offer together (with Kaligo and Fonetti). This is a fabulous bundle we can arrange for anybody who’s interested. The workshops went down a treat, as they are so immersive and useful.
What an enjoyable day! We really enjoyed working with the staff at Alderley Edge School and getting to meet other members of staff from neighbouring schools. It was lovely to see so many attendees.
