We're back and better than ever.
Here's to our first blog post of the year! We hope each and every one of you enjoyed a much-needed break, and found the time to relax and reflect on the year we've had.
It's easy to forget the things you've achieved throughout the year, especially when you're so busy. This is why it's a good idea to write everything down, when you reflect on the year and revisit your achievements you'll feel that sense of pride all over again.
Of course, as well as reflecting on what you've already accomplished, the idea of a New Year brings new goals and new opportunities. This is where New Year's Resolutions come from.
Resolutions have been around much longer than you may think, they've existed since the early 19th century. The great thing is that the New Year offers an idea of a clean slate, a chance to start fresh. This is the excuse a lot of people look for (including myself). You'll often hear people putting things off, procrastinating, but the idea of a whole New Year to put a start to something and have the time to work towards it really helps with motivation.
Your resolutions are very personal to how you are as a person, so only you can decide what you'd like to focus on. But if you're looking for that little bit of inspiration, we've thought of 5 resolutions that are both personal and professional.
