We are very pleased to announce that we have organised an event with one of our Apple Regional Training Centres, Alderley Edge School. This will take place on Thursday 25th November. We will be joined by our partners at Sphero - a fantastic company that bring coding to life, alongside creating educational kits to deliver to the classroom.

Who are Sphero?
Sphero are an educational tech company that transform the way kids learn with an engaging approach to STEAM, which is STEM + ART. They have created plenty of unique resources, including their amazing coding robots, to encourage exploration, imagination and creativity.
The company's mission, with the help of educators around the world, is to empower learners of all backgrounds and abilities to discover their interests and passions. With Sphero's accessible tools, they aim to equip learners with the skills they need to be the world's future Changemakers. As well as classroom packs and activities, Sphero have created individual robots, called Sphero BOLT. They also have an education hub, 'Sphero Edu', with a huge 3.5 million users joining the platform.

Sphero Indi is the first robot that is designed for younger learners. Indi inspires imaginative play-based learning, by empowering early learners to design and build their own mazes, whilst teaching problem solving skills. Switch them on and watch them go!
What are you waiting for? Start discovering now!
At this event, you will be introduced to the 'Everyone Can Code' curriculum. MCC will explain how the apps and features in the curriculum can help kids learn how to code, through the use of interactive puzzles and playful characters. Sphero will then display all of the creative ways their educational kits can be used, and why educators, coders and artists from many different areas love to use them. It's an amazing chance to learn more about what coding really involves, and the ways to deliver this to children in the classroom.
