Let your students unleash their musical talent with iPad and GarageBand. Music is a universal language that embodies one of the highest forms of creativity. Join us for the MCC/NTLT iPad Band Competition 2022 and let us help your students explore their talent as musicians, and so increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement.
You could win over £1000 worth of music equipment
Participating schools will receive teacher and student tuition from accredited Apple Professional Learning Specialist, David Kirtlan. This will be to select a song, rehearse a performance entirely produced on iPad and prepare for an online showcase performance in front of parents and teachers from participating schools. The winning school will receive a prize of all the equipment they need to keep the band playing - mixing desk, microphones, speakers and associated accessories.
As a festival participant, you will receive two days of virtual or in person musical coaching with David Kirtlan, together with ongoing remote support for your iPad Band Project. Once your song has been practiced, recorded and mastered, join us for the online grand finale event and celebrate your achievement with pupils, parents and teachers from the other participating schools.

Requirements to participate:

A set of 10-12 iPad, (requires iOS 14.0 or later)

10-12 pupils and support from your Music curriculum lead

Staff able to attend teacher training launch day, 12th May 2022

Time set aside for rehearsal sessions with David Kirtlan, Apple Trainer

Additional project time to record your performance (with support from David)

Celebrate and share your performance during our online grand finale
The school producing the best performance will win over £1,000 worth of music equipment, to enable you to live perform with your school iPads and create your own iPad band! Our prize includes a 24 channel mixing desk, microphones, stands and a PA system for live performances.
